Frankfort's Fair inks with West Liberty
SHORT GAP - Frankfort’s Corey Fair’s hard work and dedication paid off yesterday in the form of an offer to play football at West Liberty next season.
Frankfort’s Kevin Whiteman said that Fair decided about two weeks ago to become a Hilltopper, and the 6’4” 250-pound offensive tackle will be the first Falcon to move onto the college ranks for the first-year head coach. According to the Frankfort staff, Fair has worked hard to break into the starting lineup over the past few years, and that “run through a brick wall” attitude has paid off with this opportunity. He (Fair) is a great example of a student athlete who does well in school and earned it, said Whiteman, West Liberty really recruited and gave this kid a chance because he is a well-rounded person with potential, not because he is a just a good football player.
He is someone a lot of kids should use to see what hard work and perseverance can do you you.
