Took seventh in the shot at 12.55m. Hale was fifth in the discus at 38.47m and seventh in the hammer at 30.82m.
Other West Liberty placers included Cameron Brown, fourth in the long jump at 6.24m; Danny Vogel, seventh in the 110 high hurdles at 18.68; and Travis Beihl, eighth in the 800 meters at 2:08.34.
Jamie Dent was the Hilltoppersf only placer on the womenfs side. The senior standout was sixth in the shot with a toss of 11.36 meters and finished eighth in the hammer throw at 37.77m.
Coach Tim Weaverfs track teams return to action Saturday when they compete in the Don Frail Invitational at Marietta (Ohio) College.
