Mandel has Tigers at No. 11
Here's another post-spring Top 25 that has the Tigers ranked pretty high:
I've always thought a lot of Mandel's analysis. He seems to study this stuff quite a bit and has some informed and insightful perceptions.
The Tigers are easily the highest-ranked ACC team in Mandel's Top 25. The closest is Virginia Tech at No. 23, and that's it for the ACC.
Speaking of Virginia Tech, the Hokies could really be hurting after the loss of Branden Ore -- not to mention all those studs on defense (Hall, Adibi, etc.). But Frank Beamer's teams always seem to find a way to win at least 10 games, don't they?
